Congratulations to our very own Maisy Whittaker, and her legend of a Gran, Yvonne, for completing their wing-walk at the weekend in memory of her beautiful brother Harry, who sadly passed away at just 3 years old.
Maisy and Yvonne have raised a superb £5,575 so far, with all donations going to Shabang Inclusive Learning! where her brother Harry attended Little Tiddlers. It was a wonderful playgroup where he learned Makaton signing, got stuck into arts and crafts, and enjoyed what they called “education craftily disguised as rollicking good fun.”
With the pictures below to prove it, they stood on the upper wing of a vintage aircraft as it performs a series of low dives and tight turns at speeds of up to 130mph!
