One year ago, a Wilf Roberts joined Attis Credit Solutions as a Trainee Account Handler.
This week, Wilf celebrated not just his first anniversary with the Attis team, but also a milestone 21st birthday – a double reason to celebrate!
After finishing his A-levels, Wilf spent a year in a business support role before deciding to take on a new challenge and step into the world of credit insurance with us at Attis.
In just a year, Wilf has become a valued member of the team, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn that makes a real difference to both colleagues and clients.
Wilf reflected on his first year at Attis, and looks to the future…
What’s been the biggest thing or lesson you’ve learned during your first year here?
”I’ve really enjoyed my first year at Attis! From working in the office, meeting clients to attending events, every experience has helped me learn and grow. I’m excited to keep developing my skills and gaining as much experience as I can.
From day one, it’s been clear that we go above and beyond to make sure our clients are happy and satisfied – and that’s something I’m proud to be a part of.
Is there a memorable moment or highlight from your time here that stands out?
There have been so many memorable moments since I joined, but two really stand out for me.
The first was the races last year – such a fun day out meeting everyone across the company, sharing a few pints, and even celebrating a few wins!
Another favourite memory was our trip into Leeds for axe throwing and darts, a great laugh and a brilliant way to spend time with the team outside of work.
Looking ahead to your second year, what’s one thing you’d like to try or work towards – either personally or at Attis?
I’m excited to keep learning, developing, and growing my client portfolio – building strong relationships within the industry and continuing to deepen my knowledge.
I’m so grateful for the support and guidance from the team that helps me keep progressing.
Personally, outside of work, I will be sticking to my routine of playing football, golfing, and going to the gym, along with a few pints at the weekend!!
Looking forward to what the next year brings!!”
Wilf’s first year has been full of learning, laughs, and milestones, and we can’t wait to see what year two has in store for him.
Here’s to another year of growth, new experiences, and maybe a few more wins at the races
